Happiness has and always will depend on how we choose to see it, think it and feel it. Negative thoughts keep us stuck in the past and block us from embracing the abundance that is right in front of us. Each of us is born of worth and it's time to own this truth. Every day we have is opening night, let's not treat it like a dress rehearsal. I would like to help you find your best self. Beauty, happiness, love, satisfaction and purpose are all in the eyes of the beholder. Together we will learn how to behold it!

Change is inevitable in our lives, yet it can be scary, and the reality is that no one knows how things will be different until change takes place. This is where having a therapist is helpful: someone to help you set realistic goals for yourself and find ways of achieving them. Someone to listen with intent and help you understand what is going on in your world. Someone that can help you to learn to achieve balance, manage stress, cope with mental health symptoms, and help you to improve the overall quality of your life.
Beyond doing counseling with individuals and couples, I have 8 years of specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder; I'm a certified DBT practitioner and am trained in EMDR (and presently working on certification).
I see myself as a Hardware Store owner, meaning that I have the tools and patients come to me to share their current issues, and we work as a team to find a tool that works for the patient.
